About Me

Soft pastels and Monotypes are the basis of my paintings.  Often I use Ink and Oil Paint as underpaintings.  Many are done en Plein Aire.  

I live in Southwest Colorado and love to paint the rivers, mountains, farms, prairies and canyons of this beautiful area, often while my husband fly fishes.  I also love to explore new media and techniques. 

Painting is my travel journal.  Although it is often challenging to paint in varied locations, I enjoy the sense of being present in a new place through painting.
