Monotypes

Monotypes are single prints made from a plate upon which Ink or Paint is used to created an image.   These monotypes are hand printed giving them a "stroke" texture"  which interest to the prints.

  The ghost print is a 2nd print made from the same plate which leaves a fainter image and is often used as an "underpainting" for pastel or other media.
